Brooke started her career as a television journalist before moving into corporate communications and public relations roles, advising leading brands across the mining, travel, property, recruitment and not-for-profit sectors.

Brooke has led the marketing functions for Shine Lawyers, disability services provider Endeavour Foundation and most recently, Australia’s largest privately-owned retirement village operator, RetireAustralia.

Brooke works with boards and business owners, transitioning organisations out of tactical lead generation and into a strategic marketing methodology aligned with broader business goals.

Nicola has held senior marketing roles in both the UK and Australia, and over the past 20 years, she has launched and established products and businesses into the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Although a specialist in retail, her client list also includes companies in sectors ranging from engineering to leisure. Having experience in both B2B and B2C markets, Nicola now concentrates on advising SME companies on how to create value-driven marketing strategies that help to deliver sustainable growth.

Kate Dixon

Kate started her marketing career as a Brand Manager for Air Force recruitment. She honed her communication skills on the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, before joining a private consultancy firm.

Over the past fifteen years, Kate has led marketing teams across Australia and New Zealand, for blue chip companies including MYOB and Sunsuper. However, one of Kate’s greatest strengths is her ability to deliver growth in the small and medium business segment.

Kate has developed and executed innovative marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share across various sectors, including technology, finance, defence, tourism, not-for-profit and education.

Kevin Lillie

Kevin is a commercially driven and results orientated senior marketing/sales leader with extensive B2C and B2B marketing expertise across automotive, retail, construction, financial services, training & education.

Kevin enjoys setting clear strategic goals and delivering integrated communications plans within complex multi tiered and multi channel environments.

He has a track record of success in developing and executing innovative marketing plans to meet brand, sales and profit targets, delivered via deep relationships and developing internal teams, agencies and suppliers. Specialities include customer insights, segmentation, strategy development, brand positioning and communications.

Mike Kotlyar

Mike has operated as a senior marketer for over 35 years, gaining his experience and skills working for Coca-Cola, Caltex (Chevron), Foodstuffs, Radius Pharmacy and many more.

Mike specialises in marketing strategy, brand, channel tactics, mentoring and coaching, providing seasoned resources to help develop strategy, executing marketing plans and business growth.

Mike is a Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketers (FCIM). A recipient of the Cornell University Executive Marketing scholarship programme.

He is a Certified Strategic Marketer. He also sits on the New Zealand Marketing Association Central Advisory Committee as well as teaching direct marketing, digital and strategy courses and mentoring new marketers for the MA.

Tim Wolnizer

Tim is a multidisciplinary marketer with a broad experience. He has held key leadership positions in strategy, brand and business development, growing market share, launching rebrands and new products, and working with executive teams to achieve and exceed business goals.

A problem solver and strategist at heart, Tim has taken his corporate and agency experience to a growing client list across SME, start up and not for profit sectors. He now includes diverse sectors from performance apparel to electric vehicle charging, house builders to PPE amongst his wide range of clients.

He is passionate about helping businesses understand who they are, and how to build value from within their businesses to deliver sustainable outcomes.

Jane is a collaborative and results driven professional with a breadth of experience working in and for small and large commercial, government and not-for-profit organisations. She has held, and been successful in, senior leadership positions in fundraising at national charity, advertising agencies, marketing, and media sales. Jane’s ability to adapt, connect with others and use insights to find creative solutions to engage, grow and retain both customers and revenue has significantly helped the organisations she has worked for, including Griffith University, Tatts Lotto, Diabetes Australia, DDB, Network 7, Bauer Media, and Mamamia.  Jane enjoys building and managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Natalie Redford

Natalie is an experienced marketing leader, having held senior marketing roles with a range of global brands and international corporates. Natalie started her career as a research associate at world-renowned marketing think tank Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, managing market research projects for a range of FMCG and service clients. During her decade-long tenure at OMD, Natalie led brand transformations for major clients including McDonald’s, FedEx and Easyjet Europe, before taking on the role of marketing director for the UK beverage portfolio at PepsiCo. Most recently, Natalie was the Managing Director of HERO, an award-winning creative and digital agency.

Lyndall Murray

Marketing Strategist

Lyndall Murray is a marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in designing and implementing purpose-driven sales and marketing strategies for various consumer brands in Australia and abroad. She has a talent for anticipating future trends and inspiring consumers to make conscious choices for the kind of world they want to live in. Most recently, she was the Chief Marketing Officer at NATIVE EXTRACTS, a global leader in phyto-technology and eco-conscious manufacturing of natural compounds for the skincare, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical industries. In this role she was responsible for the global sales, marketing, and social impact strategy, including creating first nations inclusion in the supply chain and implementing full traceability from plant to product. She also works as a marketing consultant for ethical and sustainable start-ups and scale-ups in various sectors, leveraging her expertise in ethical consumer behaviour and circular economic principles.

He’s run some of New Zealand’s most successful insights agencies, and knows the challenges of building a successful brand while managing the day-to-day demands of business. Ian has worked with a broad range of businesses, from successful start-ups to national icons including organisations such as Air New Zealand, ASB, Commonwealth Bank, Public Trust, TrustPower, EECA, Sport New Zealand, Plant and Food Research, Farmers Mutual Group (FMG), Xero, Valocity and Taska.

Ashley Smith

Ashley has over 20 years in strategic marketing and market research roles, within both overseas and local businesses. He is a market researcher with business and marketing acumen, having worked within and for some of the world’s biggest brands, including Philips, Heineken, Ferrero, Danone and L’Oreal.  ​Ashley has recently shifted his focus to supporting growing SMB’s with freelance research project work across diverse B2B sectors including: mining, healthcare, construction, trades, health & safety and agriculture. Ashley was born and raised in Australia, and has spent a significant portion of his career living and working in the UK, Netherlands and Belgium. Ashley’s research ‘superpower’ is distilling an actionable storyline from the data.

Dylan Malloch is an award-winning communications professional with over fifteen years of experience across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He has worked for and alongside high profile national and international clients.His expertise in strategic marketing positioning, brand development, issues and crisis management, thought leadership, media relations and corporate communications has been widely recognised, including winning ‘Best Thought Leadership Campaign’ and ‘Business to Business Public Relations campaign’ at the PRIA Golden Target Awards. In the education sector, Dylan has been named as one of the 40 most influential people in Australian education by The Educator magazine, while his work with one of Queensland’s leading independent schools has raised their profile and credibility to the point where the School was recognised as the Australian School of the Year at the National Education Awards. More broadly, Dylan has strong professional services corporate communications experience. He has consulted to the accounting, legal, recruitment, banking and engineering sectors. He is offers expertise in media relations and he has a broad network of journalist and business contacts throughout Australia.

Julia Nowell

Julia is a highly skilled market research professional with over 17 years of experience working within specialist insight consultancies. Julia has worked as a Director at research and insight consultancies in Auckland, London and Hong Kong across both qualitative and quantitative research methods.  Most recently, she has been working with the N.B. Insights team on several projects across industries including manufacturing, trucking, timber, engineering and access equipment.Julia has in-depth exposure across businesses from local SMEs to regional APAC clients, through to high profile MNCs with a global presence. She approaches each project with care and attention, dedicated to uncovering the most insightful feedback specific to her clients’ organization and industry. Her previous clients include: Cathay Pacific Airways, Fidelity International, BBC, Fonterra New Zealand, Qatar Airways, Hong Kong Rugby Union, Zespri, L’Oréal Hong Kong and MINDEF Singapore.

Meredith Daoud

With over twenty years of experience in the market research industry, Meredith delivers a strong skill set across all disciplines of market research including executive level research and complex projects. She is a former QPMR (Qualified Practicing Market Researcher accredited by The Research Society) and works in accordance with The Research Society Code of Behaviour and Guidelines. Her experience extends across local, state and federal government, government affiliated, utilities and not-for-profit organisations. She was previously the Head of Government and Social Research for Colmar Brunton (QLD). She has a strong commercial foundation previously delivering successful projects for clients such as Telstra, Flight Centre Limited, Stockland, and QSuper. Her scope of research extends into brand research, advertising and marketing development and evaluation, customer experience, customer satisfaction, community engagement, needs, usage and attitudes research, new product/service development, gaps analysis, program/initiative evaluations, and behaviour change frameworks. Each year Meredith conducts hundreds of in-depth interviews and focus groups. She continues to conduct advanced analysis including segmentations, regressions, index creation, factor analysis and investigative analysis in both Q and SPSS.

Phil Dunbar

Phil is a market research consultant with over 30 years of hands-on experience. He has worked for NZ-based market research companies as well as global market research organisations across a number of roles. Over the last 15 years Phil has worked as an independent market research consultant. In that time, Phil has worked with a multitude of businesses and organisations, from small local businesses to large global multinationals. Initially trained as a quantitative researcher, Phil has expanded his abilities into the qualitative world, giving him a unique combination of skills.

Naturally inquisitive, he is passionate about finding out what, why and how, and helping businesses to understand their customers to aid strategic decision making.
